venturing through her favorite parts of the states and europe, libby completed a stint of touring in support of her latest album goodnight venus(03). she followed her wandering muse to the northwest last winter to begin writing for the next album and has since learned a slower life, one more conducive to soaking up new experiences of stillness; the rolling stone gathered some moss there until february, when what was to be a quick trip back to austin for a show with a string quintet turned into a move. she fell in love with strings attached and followed up the show with a whole tour through texas to raise money for an organization known well in texas as casa (www.childadvocates.org) with the group, eventually choosing to grow a deeper root in austin. feeling close to her beloved austin label, friends and fans, she is currently slow cooking a nourishing musical feast for ears, due out next year in the form of a new release, so please have patience while she shape shifts into new form as she may not reach some of you until she is complete. she sends love and appreciation.
